Passport Day in the USA-Sept 17

Planning to travel outside the United States? Passport agencies and participating passport acceptance facilities throughout the U.S. will be open on Saturday, September 17 to serve those who need to apply or renew their passport.
Plan ahead and visit www.travel.state.gov to download all the necessary forms, check filing fees and processing times and required documents needed to process your passports.
This is a once per year opportunity for any and every U.S. citizen that is entitled to a U.S. Passport, and who is thinking of traveling abroad, to come in to Passport Agency’s around the country to apply.
This year’s Passport Day was originally scheduled for April 9, but was cancelled at the last minute due to a possible government shutdown.
